The One Take Sessions returns after a forced break since the end of August and comes back for the Rockfall Festival here in Kilkenny on Thursday October 25th (this coming Thursday). Rockfall itself kicks off on Wednesday and runs to Monday, the longest the festival has ever been and we’re delighted to have a number of night’s included in the festival calendar – especially the One Take Sessions.
The significance for us is that the following week sees the One Take Sessions mark one year on the live music calendar and we’ve got four fantastic acts lined up for this week in advance of the birthday celebrations.
Diarmuid Comerford, Emer Dunne, Eamonn O’Connor and Kilkenny’s Jimmy Trigger will be taking to the stage in Cleere’s Theatre, Kilkenny, from 9:30pm on Thursday night. We’re hoping too that this Thursday will in fact be videod for KilkennyMusic.com (as will November 15th and December 6th).
There’ll be a collection made on the door on Thursday night with all proceeds going to The O’Neill Centre here in Kilkenny (as is the case for the entire Rockfall festival). Come down and enjoy some new music from four more fantastic Irish acts and re-immerse yourself in the One Take Sessions.
